The benefits of exfoliation
Body scrubs are only intended for use on the body and are not suitable for facial exfoliation. Although these two treatments have similar actions, they are each reserved for specific areas of our body. So be careful not to make a mistake!
How does a body scrub work?
A body scrub removes dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. It is an excellent exfoliant, for a clear and radiant skin. There are two types:
- The chemical action scrub: it is composed of enzymes acting on the epidermis, without the need to scrub. Very gentle, it is perfect for fragile or sensitive skin.

To avoid damaging the skin, it is best to use a scrub once or twice a week, but no more. On damp skin (e.g. when showering or bathing), apply your scrub to the body, then use gentle upward circular movements. Be sure to focus on dry areas such as elbows, heels and knees.
